Generally, loved this unusual and attractive accommodation with VERY PLEASANT staff with a friendly efficient and helpful manner by all staff. The location of the hotel was amazing, in a beautiful setting.

Staying for two nights in the Ailsa Craig room offered amazing sea views, despite the room lacking en-suite facilities. The food stands out , with excellent dishes prepared in a tiny kitchen that showcase a flair for creativity. The rooms feel tired and could benefit from refreshing updates, which detracts slightly from the overall experience. The warm and relaxed service contribute positively to the atmosphere.

The setting is amazing, right on the edge of the coast with views of Ailsa Craig. The food? Unbelievable! The five-course dinner was great, and the breakfast spread was great too. Just a heads up, the road leading here is super bumpy. But if you love cozy charm and very nice eats, this place is a must-visit!

During my stay, the fine coastal views were lovely, and being just a few steps away from the coastal footpath allowed for lovely strolls with very nice scenery.

The five-course dinner was absolutely a highlight—each dish a delightful surprise! Although the rooms felt dated, the stunning views from our balcony made up for it. 🤗

This place suits me perfectly! Free wi-fi, a cute bar, and great dining options make it ideal. The staff once helped me find delicious food nearby, and they're always attentive. I'm excited to return in the new year!

Good room, good food, with an electric kettle for hot drinks and a bar/lounge area that added to our comfort .

It was all superb.

The location is absolutely stunning, right beneath the lighthouse, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Although there weren't many vegetarian options, the chef was very accommodating and created a delicious meal for us. The room had a great sea view, but the separate bathroom was a bit inconvenient during the night.
